How to Get There

Get to the capital city of Terengganu-Kuala Terengganu by flight or coaches. Then drive north to Merang Jetty(40 minutes) and last take a speedboat to Lang Tengah Island(40 minutes).

Pulau Perhentian (kecil)

Perhentian Island or Pulau Perhentian is divided in to 2 parts - Perhentian Kecil (Small Perhentian) and Perhentian Besar (Big Perhentian). How this island get it's name? It named after "henti"(stop) as fishermen from mainland Kelantan and Terengganu have, for centuries, stopped over at the island for a rest or to shelter during a major storm. This island is a good place to dive.

How To Get There
